Accident Exchange is one of the largest accident management companies in Europe.
Formed in 2001, we now operate a fleet of more than 6,000 cars including all of the major manufacturer brands and models.
Our team of over 650 people provide the security for more than 3 million motorists who have the protections of our Accident Aftercare service.
Today, we have exclusive and long-standing partnerships with more than 1,300 affiliates who range from automotive manufacturers to automotive dealer groups, from independent body repair shops to national fleet management providers and from consumer groups to insurance companies.
Listed on the Official List of the London Stock Exchange under the EPIC code ACE.L, Accident Exchange is also an Association of British Insurers (“ABI”) Tier 1 approved supplier.
Working under the ABI General Terms of Agreement, we offer motorists involved in non-fault accidents a like-for-like replacement vehicle for the period that they are deprived of the use of their car.
In simple terms, we hire a replacement vehicle to you while we organise and manage and, at our discretion and if requested by you, fund the repairs to your vehicle on your behalf. When the hire vehicle is returned to us, we pass the bill for our hire charges and any repair charges funded by us to the insurance company of the at fault driver.
For your added protection and peace of mind, we can arrange an insurance policy on your behalf, which protects you from having to pay our charges and any repair charges funded by us in the event that they are not recovered from the at fault driver or their insurer. You will find further details of this insurance policy, together with details of how to arrange cover, in the documentation which accompanies this letter.
Finally, we will notify the relevant third party or their insurer of your claim and of the fact that you have instructed us to act on your behalf.
Accident Exchange is authorised and regulated by the FSA and the Ministry of Justice.
