Accident Exchange sponsor rising motor racing star

Dealer accident management solutions provider, Accident Exchange, has thrown its weight behind rising single-seater star, Tom Bradshaw, for the 2007 season.

Bradshaw, who infamously failed his driving test earlier in the year despite earning his spurs on the track, will contest the 20-race Formula Palmer Audi series.

The seventeen-year-old from Blackburn will be looking to build on his reputation as "one to watch" in the hugely competitive ladder single-seater championship. Already nominated for the BRDC's prestigious 'rising star' accolade, Bradshaw has also been shortlisted for the new David Brabham MSA racing elite, which will take six promising youngsters and school them in building a successful race career.

Daksh Gupta, Chief Operating Officer of Accident Exchange said: "Tom is an exceptional talent, and a proven winner already having won the North West Formula Ford title, so we have great hope for him this season as he steps up into Formula Palmer Audi."

The 300bhp Audi powered single-seater is the brainchild of ex-Formula One driver, and now race circuit entrepreneur, Jonathan Palmer. Such is the pedigree of the series that this year's grid reads like a whos who of F1-names with Alex Brundle (Martin), Jolyon Palmer (Jonathan), Stefan Wilson (brother of ex-Jaguar and now ChampCar ace, Justin), competing alongside some of Britain's brightest young racing talent.

The lights go out for the start of the 2007 season at Silverstone on April 6/7.
